Why not just find some software to rotate it clockwise 90 degrees? A looping gif like this is more fit for the art portal. It looks pretty decent.

It's not really a loop, because the beginning and end don't really tie into one another. Maybe you could have Sergei running off and fleeing from the scene, then the camera following her to another Cosmo where she stops beside him, thus making it an actual loop.
