I think you did a wonderful job with the character. I think it would look better if the whole body was obscured by the purple cloak, kinda like Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario. It would definitely be somewhat easier to draw.

Oh that’s even more fun! I’ll admit I was thinking of doing that, but I had trouble incorporating the arm with the staff into it (since I knew I really wanted to give him a candlestick wizard staff.)
